The premier ACSESS award given in recognition of the recipient's outstanding contributions to the Association and the staffing industry in Canada. This honour is given only in years when an individual stands out for their exemplary commitment and leadership.
Award criteria and considerations include:
The extent of volunteer involvement on ACSESS National and Chapter Boards; service on, and contributions to, other professional and industry association boards and committees; training and speaking accomplishments; demonstration of exceptional service and dedication provided to the staffing and recruitment industry in Canada.
Presented to the ACSESS Chapter that has demonstrated outstanding leadership within their region at a grassroots level.
Award criteria and considerations include:
The Chapter of the Year is selected based on a regional chapter’s support of the ACSESS mission and key objectives, and delivery of services that meet the needs and expectations of its chapter members.
Presented to an ACSESS member company that has shown an extraordinary commitment to, and genuine concern for, the community at large. To be eligible for this award, a company and its employees must be involved in public service activities that return value to the community by supporting charities, education and other community groups.
Award criteria and considerations include:
Consideration of the commitment to community service/charities; education; organizations (associations/colleges etc); volunteerism of company employees.
Presented to a recruiter / consultant who has demonstrated an early commitment to the industry by taking advantage of opportunities, taking ownership of their responsibilities, and working as a team member learning from experienced staffing professionals.
Award criteria and considerations include:
Nominees for this award should have been working directly in the industry for no more than 24 months.
Presented to a company in the staffing services industry that has demonstrated outstanding performance in workplace health and safety.
Award criteria and considerations include:
Leadership of senior management demonstrating commitment to H&S; communication of H&S information within the company; planning, development & maintenance to integrate H&S into business practices; participation in industry programs.
Presented to an ACSESS member who has demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment to ACSESS over an extended period of time.
Award criteria and considerations include:
Positions held on ACSESS National Board and/or Committees and/or Chapter Board; demonstration of proactive leadership within elected and appointed positions; exceptional dedication to fulfill elected and voluntary responsibilities.
Presented to an ACSESS member company that has on a continuing basis, and particularly over the past year, demonstrated an exceptional commitment to employee education and awareness.
Award criteria and considerations include:
Company policies and examples of continuous learning opportunities offered to employees at all levels; a broad based company commitment to specific industry training including ACSESS CPC modules, awareness programs and conferences; and documented in-house education.
Presented to an ACSESS member in recognition of their exceptional contribution to a project or initiative that raises industry standards and/or enhances ACSESS services.
Award criteria and considerations include:
Review of the project/file, or industry and/or government initiative; demonstration of the individual’s role and accomplishments that go beyond expectations; measurable results and/or successful implementation of the project or service.
Presented to a recruiter/consultant with a minimum 3 years’ experience in the staffing industry who consistently goes above and beyond in developing and maintaining exceptional relationships with clients and talent alike.
Award criteria and considerations include:
The customer and candidate experience are pivotal to the success of every staffing firm. Recipients of this award will have a proven track record of orchestrating memorable events on a consistent basis for their customers and talent throughout the entire recruitment and placement process.
Submissions are accepted from ACSESS member firms and may be supported by success stories from clients, temporary and contract workers, and candidates with whom the nominee has worked.
Finalists will be selected from each of 5 regions represented by ACSESS, and will be recognized together with the Recruiter of the Year at the Annual Awards Ceremony held in conjunction with ACSESS National Conference (April 28-30, 2020 Toronto).
