On behalf of the Government of Alberta, it is my pleasure to send greetings to the recruitment, employment and staffing services industry as we mark Staffing for Canada Week.
People are our country’s greatest resource, and “Putting Canadians to Work” is vital to our present and future prosperity. I know the most important thing our government can do to make life better for Albertans is to ensure they have opportunities to succeed. I appreciate the staffing industry’s efforts to connect job creators with temporary employees, who play a significant role in our workforce and contribute so much to our economy.
My thanks to the Association of Canadian Search, Employment and Staffing Services and its members for organizing this event and providing leadership for this important work.
