In today’s challenging economy, ACSESS remains focused on the priorities that will support members’ business in the year ahead. ACSESS will focus on three key issues in 2024: industry regulation and education, technology, and workforce trends. We look forward to welcoming members to our national conference in Toronto next month (May 8-10th at Marriott Downtown CF Toronto) – our conference committee has put together an outstanding lineup of speakers including our 2024 Canadian Staffing & Recruitment Legal Panel, an update on market trends, data statistics and marketing, recruitment, and business strategies for 2024 and beyond. ACSESS conference is where the staffing community comes together to make strategic connections, learn new strategies and get solutions that win business and accelerate growth. Because of the unique attributes of staffing and recruitment in Canada, a major focus of the association’s advocacy is to proactively ensure that labor and employment laws do not impede staffing agency operations or unnecessarily increase costs, which could reduce labor market flexibility. Since our last newsletter, ACSESS, has continued to make our industry's views known across a wide range of policy issues. I encourage you to review the full report and, as always, welcome your feedback, comments, and recommendations.

On the membership front, we are very pleased to share that we have welcomed over 50 new corporate members from regions across the country this past year, which marks a record in the history of our association!
