Did you know ACSESS has official partnerships (including reporting and monitoring committee or "comité vigie") with the CNESST in Quebec and provincial Labour Ministries across the country. This initiative (direct liaison with provincial employment standards) was created in an effort to raise the bar on industry practices and hold accountable the unethical and illegal operators. We rely strongly on our members reporting, sharing and bringing any concerns to our attention – this will create a level playing field and a fairer industry for staffing firms, their clients and assignment employees alike. As always, we will encourage the various provincial ministries to follow up on complaints received from ACSESS and implement enforcement initiatives against staffing firms that operate illegally and the client companies that use them.
