Dear Members,
As we reflect on 2025, I am proud to share the many accomplishments we achieved together. This year, ACSESS advanced key advocacy initiatives to strengthen the voice of Canada’s staffing and recruitment industry, expanded professional development opportunities, and hosted impactful events—including our annual Conference in Montreal, which welcomed over 300 attendees and provincial legal compliance sessions. With strong policy engagement and collaboration with government leaders, 2025 has truly been a year of meaningful progress. In its recent economic report, Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA) recognized Canada as the least complex staffing market in America, citing its attractive features for contingent labour buyers, such as strong governance, excellent technology, infrastructure and a favourable pricing environment. SIA also noted Canada has the least regulations and legislative restrictions in the world.
Looking ahead to 2026, ACSESS will continue to build on this momentum. We are preparing new programs to support member firms in navigating evolving workplace legislation, and we are thrilled to partner with the World Employment Confederation to deliver the World Employment Conference on May 12–13 at the Sheraton Toronto. This global event will feature specialized learning tracks and opportunities to connect with international industry leaders. Our focus remains on ensuring Canadian staffing and recruitment firms are recognized as vital contributors to the economy and the future of work.
As we approach the holiday season, I want to take a moment to thank you for being an ACSESS member this year. Your support is invaluable to our work advocating for Canadian staffing and recruitment firms.
On behalf of the ACSESS team, I wish you a joyful holiday season and a successful year ahead.
Warm regards,
Mary McIninch
